Let me be clear. If I cannot give a 5 star review I probably will not review a place. If I encounter something really egregious I will contact management directly so they can make changes or just tell me I don't know what I am talking about. Opening the door of Flanders you face a counter of great looking seafood on ice. People are waiting on take out orders, a hostess gathers menus to seat you, and the aroma tells you this is a seafood restaurant. Your excitement builds as you know the meal will be great, and it was for us. Watching servers carry gorgeous dishes to other diners distracts you from the menu; which can be confusing. Our server was a great help.

I have only ate the lobster burger with sweet potatoe fries!! And Rosemary's ba-bee drink. (A modified Bee's Knees!!!!) So far I leave satisfied!! No doubt. I prefer the bar for eating vs a table, nothing against table, just that the bar feels welcoming. Staff has been great every time I go!.

Our server was very attentive. The stuffed portobello was well done for an appetizer. For our meals we had the Parmesian Swordfish special and Pasta Formica. Both meals were delicious. We will be back to try more sometime in the future. The seafood dishes were very fairly priced.

Great spot. Was passing thru fof the night and stopped in with my wife. We got a bunch of apps. Oysters, shrimp cocktail, steamers, crab cakes, stuffies, brussels and sicilian calamari were awesome! The market itself was a cool spot... grabbed carrot cake to go... possibly best I've ever had. Great martini's (rosemary and caddy's) and friendly staff. Highly suggest this place !

I can see why this place is so highly rated! Food, service—all fantastic! We had the clam chowder for an appetizer (so creamy!) and I had the Niantic Bloody Mary which was spicy and the clam juice made all the difference! We had the crab cakes and fish BLT, both scrumptious. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful and very prompt. We’re a little far to visit frequently, but we would DEFINITELY come back!

Excellent fish market with plenty of fresh, beautiful fish. The restaurant was fantastic! Comfortable, quick service, large bar area. My beer battered fish and chips was delicious. A large, moist piece of cod with a tasty and crispy batter. The accompanying fries were hot and fresh, too. One person in my party had the Mahi tuna melt - it was large and looked amazing. I will definitely get it next time, as I've never had a tuna melt with pickles and bacon on it! Easy parking, even with all of the snow piled up.

We went around noon, and the hostess was going to seat us in the back, the area behind the bar, we asked to be sat in a different area, and she kindly obliged, which was appreciated. We started w Spicy Sprouts, and they were so very good, kinda like a Gen Tsaos sauce, def recommend and, 3 of and our fill and there was still about a serving left. My friend had the truffle fries, which I tried and they were very very tasty, tho, IMO, a bit too truffle-y, but that could have been just the couple I pilfered my salad was everything I was hoping for, the grilled shrimp was done perfectly. My grandpa loves their spicy pollock, but always has to stress that he wants the spiciest possible, and they hit the mark. I'll add a note about the onion rings, that I had had before, they are not the big thick cut ones, they are thinner cut, think more along the lines of a shoestring ff, in case you're like me, so that you're not a lil let down when they come. They were ok, not my favorite, but ok. The coleslaw is good, a lil too creamy for me,( I prefer a more vinegar heavy&, smaller chopped)but not bad at all, Im telling you all of this as my opinion, not a critique, just so you know what you'll be getting when you order, yknow? This restaurant, the staff, is a fantastic place, everything is well executed & the atmosphere is exactly what you want in a N.E fish restaurant. Sorry, alcohol free so I can't help yall out w/ anything from the bar.
